I have always believed that life is an endless journey of education. If I am not learning and trying new things regulaly then I am not growing. And as a Realtor I find it particularly challenging, and exciting, to keep on the cutting edge to better assist all of my customers. - Anne Jablonski, Realtor® e-Pro, ABR, WHS, CRS
What does, CRS, ABR, GRI, ePro, etc......mean?
REALTOR®
The term Realtor® is used only to identify members of NAR (National Association of Realtors) and aren’t synonymous with generic terms, such as “real estate practitioner.” To obtain this distinguished recognition a real estate agent (already licensed by the Montana board of Realty Regulations) must also regularly complete a course on the Code of Ethics and comply with its regulations. The Code of Ethics establishes obligations that may be higher than those mandated by law. REALTORS® pledge themselves to protect and promote the interests of their client.
WHS- Workforce Housing Specialist
ABR- A Buyer's Representative
Acredited Buyer's Representative designation shows that a specialized course has successfully been completed, and an ongoing association with this group has been established.
ePro-
This course, sponsored through NAR, gives the Realtor® extra classes in how to effectively utilize new technologies in their business; such as, but not limited to; Website, email, social networking and blogs, and new technology tools.
CRS- Certified Residential Specialist-
Anne was awarded this designation by the Council of Residential Specialists at the beginnig of February 2010.
Realtors who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Fewer than 38,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential.
Home buyers and sellers can be assured that CRS Designees subscribe to the strict Realtor code of ethics, have access to the latest technology and are specialists in helping clients maximize profits and minimize costs when buying or selling a home.
February 2009 - Anne completed the Workforce Housing Specialist certification course, which was created by the Montana Association of Realtors to assist our “work force” home buyers with the process and programs that will assist them in achieving the American Dream, Homeownership. Anne learned a lot of great sources for financial assistance, along with updates on current lending practices to assist YOU, her clients.
